Northwest Michigan Works Helps Business Meet Staffing Needs

 eFulfillment Service, Inc in Traverse City is a family owned ecommerce business that provides  warehousing, packaging and the shipment of internet merchandise for over 750 clients to locations all over the world. eFulfillment HR Manager, Merry Hawley, says one of the challenges she continually faces is finding qualified staff. Northwest Michigan Works! has been able to help eFulfillment Service meet that challenge. Michigan Works has helped her use the Pure Michigan Talent Connect as a recruiting tool and also provided On the Job Training Program funding to help develop a new employee’s skills. Hawley says the one-on-one service they receive from Northwest Michigan Works! is “irreplaceable.” She has visited the Michigan Works office to discuss recruiting strategies and several members of the Michigan Works team have toured the eFulfillment facility.

“They have taken the time to truly understand what our needs are,” said Hawley. “As a result of that relationship we have hired several individuals from their service efforts... I truly appreciate the dedication of the Northwest Michigan Works team.”
