Business Leadership Expert Looks at Keys to Good Leadership

Leadership development consultant and best-selling business leadership author Angie Morgan was the featured speaker at a Business Owners Speaker Series event in Traverse City. Best-selling business leadership author Angie Morgan was the featured speaker at the Business Owners Speaker Series (BOSS) April 22 in Traverse City. Morgan is the founder of Lead Star, a leadership development consulting firm, and the best-selling author of the business book “Leading from the Front.” Morgan has experience as a professional speaker, executive coach, and curriculum designer for leading companies and organizations around the globe including Facebook, Google, ESPN, and Best Buy. She helps clients translate leadership theory into actions that deliver results and has appeared as a guest on FOX, CNN, and MSNBC. Morgan learned how to lead during her time as a Marine Corps officer and devotes time today as a Director for the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation. This was the third installment of the speaker series in Traverse City. The Business Owners Speaker Series provides an opportunity to hear local business leaders share strategies and ideas that can help any business succeed.

The Speaker Series is being presented by Charter Business and the Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in conjunction with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
