Grand Traverse County

2022 Hazard Mitigation Plan 

Networks Northwest assisted the Grand Traverse County Office of Emergency Management with the update of their plan in accordance with the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000. The plan update was discussed at the following meetings:

  • December 16, 2021 at 8:30 am
  • January 11, 2022 at 10:00 am
  • February 17, 2022 at 8:30 am
  • March 23, 2022 (Village of Kingsley) at 10:00 am
  • March 24, 2022 at 10:00 am
  • April 21, 2022 at 8:30 am
  • May 26, 2022 at 10:00 am

All meetings were held in conjunction with the Grand Traverse County Local Emergency Planning Committee/ Local Planning Team. Meetings were held in person at the Grand Traverse Governmental Center, 400 Boardman Ave., Traverse City, MI 49684 (or otherwise advertised) and were open to the public. 

 Upon final review and approval by the Federal Emergency Management Agency the plan will be adopted by the County Board of Commissioners. The final draft plan is here:
